Scholarships for Open Enrollment Courses

There are limited partial scholarships available for some courses offered at Aviva Institute on a space available basis.  

All scholarships are limited to low income students who would be unable to take the course at the full cost, but do have resources to pay up to 50% of the tuition and books. Some scholarships may be limited to those who will be working with families facing issues such as poverty, language issues, cultural differences, and racism.
 

Professional Education for Midwives

Limited full scholarships are available for midwives practicing in developing nations for continuing education courses and for some courses as a non matriculating student. Midwives must be currently practicing as a primary midwife, have excellent English and Internet access. 

 
Scholarships for Midwifery Core Courses

There are currently no scholarships for the midwifery program. Aviva Institute offers one work study/scholarship position per year. The position has been filled for the 2008/09 school year.
